Mother plant size "Pedro Jyo" Komorebi Plants House Wild Mounted Staghorn Fern
This is a specimen commonly known as P-jō (P-top) derived from Komorebi Plants.
This plant was cultivated from a株 (kabu - clone/offshoot) that emerged from a Pedro specimen purchased at the time, grown on sphagnum moss. It belongs to the lineage often referred to as Komorebi Plants House Wild.
While the detailed breeding background is unknown, this specimen is highly distinctive for its wild-like ruggedness and its long, drooping spore leaves.
It has a whitish leaf texture and unique undulations, and we believe it's the type that becomes more interesting the more it's cultivated.
Currently managed mounted on a board. It is a parent-sized specimen, measuring approximately 70 cm from the tip of the water-storing leaf to the tip of the spore leaf.
Offshoots are also present.
Water-storing leaves are also developing and have firmly attached.
Recommended for:
- Those who like the Komorebi lineage
- Those looking for a plant with a strong wild feel
- Those who want a one-of-a-kind Platycerium
As this is a living plant, its condition changes daily.
The spore leaves will be gently bent for packaging.
Please understand that minor leaf damage, drying marks, and small scratches may be present.
While we will pack it carefully, please be aware of the risk of leaf breakage during transport.
