*This is a half hide of vegetable tanned leather from the representative Shonan Leather. This is authentic vegetable tanned leather, slowly and carefully tanned over 2 months or more in pit vats filled with 100% tannin tanning solution. It is a thick and very hard vegetable tanned leather. It is finished in a raw finish state with minimal finishing processes, resulting in a natural and hard vegetable tanned leather.

This vegetable tanned leather was judged as Grade B during the selection process.
The natural textures such as tiger wrinkles and scratches, characteristic of raw finished vegetable tanned leather, are left as they are. We ask for your understanding and only proceed if you accept this.

We can ship approximately 5-6 half hides together. For vegetable tanned leather, it will be about 2-3 pieces.

If you wish to have the leather thinned, please comment before purchasing. The thinning fee is 600 yen per piece.

For embossed leather, it is approximately 1.0 mm. Thinning is done by hand by craftsmen.
There may be variations in thickness depending on the type and manufacturer of your gauge. Soot from the machinery may adhere during the process. We will only accept thinning requests from those who understand and accept this. Thinning work is only done on weekdays; we are closed on weekends and holidays.

*Leather bears the marks of its life. As a natural material, there may be scratches, stains, wrinkles, tiger wrinkles, creases, holes, etc., that cannot be fully captured in the images.
There may also be damage from storage conditions. Dyed leather may have uneven color or some color fading. Those seeking perfection should absolutely refrain from purchasing. We kindly ask for your understanding and only proceed with purchases from those who accept this in advance.
